Hi,

I bought (dismantled) a bullbar from a 60 series cruiser and I tried to put it in my 61 series cruiser. It appears to be different. The bullbar appears to have 6 bolt points where as my 61 series only has 4 bolt points (on the chasis to the bullbar). It is mounted and fits well using the 4 bolt points on the chasis to the bullbar. Is this right? or do I have to mount a bracket on to the chasis to acheive the 6 bolt points?

Thanks!

What brand of bar is it?

All 60's came standard with a nbracket fitted to the outer edges of the chassis rails to strengthen the bumper/bullbar. Four bolts on the inside of the chassis and two on the strengthen brk.

not sure which brand it is. Looks like an old ARB one (without turn indicators). Looks like my 61series doesn't have the strengthening bracket...

Doesnt affect the bar during 'normal' 4wding. A mate has gone without his for the last five years without a prob, and thats with a 9000lb winch fitted as well!
I had an offcut of an old project.....6mm angle. Welded a piece of flat to the bottom and bolted it up. No movement out of the bar, even when loading up the winch. ;)
