Hi eveyone,

Im getting my Hilux 1990 SR5 LN106R lifted 2" next week and also getting 2" body blocks put in.

What I am wondering is if I will need to extend my brake lines for this? Also, does the radiator need to be repositioned?

Is there anything else that will need to be modified to accomodate the 2" suspension and 2" body lift?

Next question is, if I was to also install 200mm extended shackels to the lux would anything need to be modified to have everything aok?

Also, will 33" tyres fit under the 2" suspension and 2" body lift easily and at full flex?

Will 35" tyres fit under the 2" suspension, 2" body and 200mm extended shackels?

Thanks guys and sorry about all the q's!

There will be enough length in the brake lines, yes you will need to ajust the radiator, if you have a well back ute the fuel filler may not line up with the cap hole, you may need a steering shaft spacer... engineers like to see one. Ive got a 91 model used to have 35's with 4" body lift and just cleared guards nicely, now dropped down to 2" body lift and 4" suspention

Im guessing the 200mm extended shackles is a typo if not there some HUGE BITCH shackles?? I run climax drop shackles

let me know how you go

Is there anything else that will need to be modified to accomodate the 2" suspension and 2" body lift? Susp - no, BL - will need to expand solid coiled section of brake lines under bonnet, maybe steering spacer - i didn't need to, fuel filler as mentioned lengthened or adjusted to ensure it works, possible strech some wiring from chassis to body.
Next question is, if I was to also install 200mm extended shackels to the lux would anything need to be modified to have everything aok? Rear of truck will sit noticable higher than front. Unless 200mm E2E are going in the front also.

Also, will 33" tyres fit under the 2" suspension and 2" body lift easily and at full flex? Depends on tub back or tray.... 2+2 &33's will fit, may rub on rear of the front at full flex and definately will rub on full flex and full lock.

Will 35" tyres fit under the 2" suspension, 2" body and 200mm extended shackels? No - Front diff must come fwd.

Thanks guys and sorry about all the q's!
