Tacho sensor on TD42

Can someone tell me where the tacho sensor (or engine revolution sensor as the Gregory`s book decribes it) is positioned on a 93 TD42

its in the timing cover area. I htink it picks up of the camshaft.

it might be of help to know that the tacho on particualar GQ's runs through the glow plug timer which if that part fails is costly to repair

The tacho on the 2.8TD is gets its signal from the glowplug control unit..
