lowering shackle mount

after some opinions on the affrects of this ??
i wana take out the blocks under my rear springs 2 reduce axle rap but i wanna keep it bout the same height just wonder if i lower the shackle mount and the rear wot eccect will this have on the suspension ???

i would say the only thing it would affect is the pinion angle

yeah it will point the pinion skyward but that wil b ok coz i can spin my wedges around the other way 2 bring it back down a bit
i trying 2 find the post on PBB bout it i thought some1 said that it will make the truck hop ?? but cant find it

Are you going to lower just the rear mount or the front mount as well

just the rear, the front is already slightly lower due 2 being moved forward 4 the falcon springs

Should'nt cause any probs if the pinion angle is corrected.
If you are only dropping it an inch or so to make up for an inch lower block it should'nt make much difference at all.

was thinking bout lowering it like 2 or 3" so that i can take out the lift blocks under my springs i know that only lowering it 2 " will lift it 1"
