Do a search for "Commodore Alternator" in the Nissan section. There have been a few posts recently suggesting that a 5L VT Commodore is a 120A bolt on alternative (wiring changes required). From memory, there was some argument as to whether this was true of not. You could try sending a PM to those who have done it and get their ideas.
Also check out
http://www.aea.com.au/shopping/index.html. I've seen a few posts recommending this place.
I've also read that a Blue Bird 50A alternator is a bolt on changeover, and apparently they can be rebuilt and upgraded to 100A spec.
I have no personal experience in this area, just passing on what I've read / learnt as possible avenues for you to go down.

Yep they bolt straight on.You can get a new stator and rotor that will do the job.
Did it to mine but with 85A internals
