electrical fire.....

well, after the move and everything, i decided it was time to get my feroza off of the trailer that it had been sitting on since dec due to nice weather. i then attempted to jump it in order to get it started and it seems that my positive battery cable had frayed a bit and shorted out on the inner wall, causing a minor electrical fire and shorting out the entire system. no gage lights, nothing. everything is dead...

i got so fed up i just put the fire out, made a quick survay of the damage, and left (happened yesterday).

im thinkin this weekend i'll take a closer look and see about fixing the damaged wiring harness... what is the worse i should expect? any way i could test the main fuse, fuel injection fuse, and fuel pump fuse? i cant seem to find any replacements.

also, would it be a good (cheap) idea to use the clutch plate off of my spare block and install it with my spare tranny in order to save some money (im thinkin of buyin another feroza with a blown headgasket and stuffing in a v6 when i get a chance, hence the money saving on this feroza).

if you have a multi meter you can check if power is getting to the other side of the fue but then again if its melted wires together its only going to short out and maybe start another fire
cheers
