What size tyres so you want to run?

What 6" calmini lift are you talking about. They only do a 3" for vits and 5" for sierras, unless this is the 3" bodylift and 3" sus lift combined.

Don't use their bodylift, there are better around. The suspension will require mods to their diff drop brackets as the 2.0 Vit has a wider chassis. Import it yourself direct, it'll be cheaper.

calmini 3" BL wont be legal in aus, as max BL is supposedly 2" now, but the calmini one uses some box section.

you can get the BL better locally.

is the 2lt V6 a vitara, or a grand vitara? i'm not too sure, but the V6 will prolly have different mounting for the front diff, and i think the V6 is wider (chassis?).

Yeah i was thinking of making my own body lift. its just a vitara. i just picked it up yesterday and i'm itchin to mod it. i think i'll end up with 30x9's anything bigger will suck to much power and i don't really want to start cutting guards.
has anyone got any ideas for springs and spring hights? i don't know much about the vitaras so any help would be great.

But not for the vitara. The spring over for hte sierra is bolt on, and leaves the u-bolts pointing down, making them rock anchors IMHO.

Your stock rims are 16" x 6.5" and 235/70R16 and 225/75 R16 will go on without any lift but will just touch a bit in the rear on compression. You don't even really notice a change in performance. Don't forget that you can always swap diff ratios and go 5.125 to compensate for the larger tyres. If you're going to do anything with your suspension use Old Man Emu struts as they are the best you can get for these even with the Calmini kit.
