tyre sizes

What size tyres can i go to on my disco 1 before they start to rub on the front control arms at full lock.

No tyre size as you can adjust the lock stops to prevent it.
245.75x16 requires the lock stops to be screwed out a bit.
Of course you lose some lock doing this.
If you look the lock stop bolts are quite obvious
