Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Car is 1982 bj42 cruiser. And as title says, im stuck in low range. But, the stick still moves around, so even if the stick is in h4 or h2 its still in low range, even if the stick is halfway between the gears then its still in low range.

Can anyone help me out, cheers.

sounds more of a linkage problem than in the transfer case
check whether somethings broken or loose from your selector down to the t/case
