Just use vinyl paint. Comes in a pressure pack, get it from any auto parts store.

Before spraying though, give whatever your painting a thorough cleaning with something fairly harsh. If anything like Armourall or other silicone based "protectants" have been used on it you need to get rid of that first, otherwise the paint won't stick.

The esp one I also have sitting next to my monitor looks exactly how it was described originally.

white rectangle with blue and red on it

"firmly bonds paint to any surface.....even glass!"

And if ya swinging through this way gareth you are welcome to BORROW it ;)

you can use ESP (easy surface prep) Dulux and alike stock it. And penetrol is also a surface prep just by a different company. They will both do the job. We use these products to apply first to laminated surfaces and alike that paint has trouble bondidng too. Then just spray vynil paint onto it.

too easy ;)

Well when painting plastic you need to use a PLASTIC PRIMER (this eats into the plastic and forms a better surface for the paint to stick to...can be bough in spray can form from most auto shops. You can use normal paint on top of that.....i opted to use normal primer over the plastic primer - rubbed it down and then used color followed by clear.

Here is a pic of the Skyline interior
