hey guys
i was wondering what these engine fans are like for the v6's, i have a v6 in a hilux and it always run fairly warm, but as soon as i go off road it gets hot and the thermo just doesnt quite hack it, today i drove in to a water hole with the thermo going (not thinking about the fan) and now have burnt the fan motor out. So i figure now would be a good tim to put an engine fan on it, if it is worth while doing.
Is marks 4wd the only place u can buy these fans from???

thanx

I think that Marks are the only ones that do the engine fan. I have had one on for a couple of years now and would definately urge you to get one rather than thermos, mine only just starts to get a little warm on a hot day when slow crawling compared to the thermos. Remember that you also need to have the cowl fitted otherwise your just pissing in the wind.

Chevtorque in Perth make a 11 blade viscous coupled fan to suit the Commodore v6 engine
The Marks fan is a fixed hub fan
The both came on the market about the same time
