Have you noticed how most Jap modified pajeros run Yokahama Geolander MT's. Have a look at J Roots , Padokku etc. Yet they don't seem to be too popular in Australia.

Bigrun Dunk have an english version now and there's some cool pics of massively lifted rigs including some Gen 3's (IFS/IRS). They have some cool products including the 4 link rear end kit. Also Bigrun Dunk is owned by Jaos (Japanese aftermarket 4x4 accessories supplier) they are like the hardcore division of Jaos.
J's Root is Aki's club website there are some serious machines in his club.

If only Australian Compliance rules hadn't changed July this year, now Jap vehicles under 15 years are not allowed to be imported. I want this Paj J top with twin turbo GTO motor and 6 inch lift for sale in the used section. ( I almost privately imported a twin cab Unimog for under $20,000 in June from Japan, but chickened out at the last minute)
