Does anyone have, or know of link to a chassis diagram showing measurements of body mounts and radius/trailling arm mounts etc for a Series 1 Discovery??

Its the same as a series 1 rangies 70-94 if you find one. Apart from the rear shocks on earlier models, which has one infront of the rear diff and one behind. the later rangies and discos had both shocks infront.

Yip, was aware of that thanks Andy. Only thing I could find was chassis repair measurements on rave, but not quite what I was after.....

Hello People
I’m about to put a ZF and a BW transfer (from a 1990 RR I’m told) into my 83 4 door RR it’s currently got the old 4 speed manual (the current centre diff has Sh*t its self and has taken the case with it). Has anyone got any tips for me? I think I have all the required bits. I need to do some fabrication on the transmission tunnel to mount the shifter and hand brake. What about clearance under the existing tunnel what’s involved there? (I don’t want to go through the hassle of getting the right transmission tunnel (about 1986? I think)), what about the rest, a standard manual to auto conversion? What about the Speedo?
Sorry about all the questions hope some one can let me know what I'm in for!

Possibly start your own thread with a subject applicable to what you are wanting to know. Not jumping on your back about asking in this thread but the title doesnt really relate to what you are asking so a lot of people will bypass this particular thread. Just a thought ;)
