I have got an AC wiring diagram for a P40 MQ Patrol which might help a bit - I doubt that the principles have changed a lot. I pulled mine apart last year to get at the micro switches and replace the main relay. Quite a fiddle as it was all tucked up under the dash and behind the glove box which I had to remove. I don't think I have permissions to post a picture so if you want me to email a copy leave me a message. I modified the micro switches whilst I had it apart by introducing a bypass switch so that I could run the AC in the demist positon. Improved defogging enormously.

Most 'trols (Y60) came out with after market (cooltemp) a/c ... so factory diagrams don't cover it ... pretty standard on any vehicle.

If it's worth doing - it's worth doing to excess ...
