Ok, this is sorta comming from anther thread, but i have standard tyres and rims (i think), but want to move up to 30x9.5x15R Mickey Thompsom radial claws..will these fit with just a 50mm body lift or would i have to lift the suspension as well? Also does the gear shift need lengthening with a body lift ? and i realise i will also have to get my speedo recalibrated to keep the speed cameras happy, prob need a engineers cert too just for the larger tyres..currently have 205x75x15R road rubbish.

As per the other thread.....give it a go and see how they fit.
I don't think you'll have a problem, maybe only rubbing the front mud flaps on full lock !
If they do rub....just get some 1-2" longer shackles for the rear (lift = 1/2 - 1 inch) and wind up the torsion bars a small amount !
As for gear sticks, they are long enough, but you will need to reach down a bit further to shift them
.....from memory, I think the tunnel does NOT need modifying

I have 31 x 10.5 x 15 on mine and it looks like it's had a 1 inch suspension lift at best. I've wound up the torsion bars to stop the rubbing on the front but that is why I'm doing the body lift. They should fit no problems.
I'm getting the Radial Claws myself... just have to break the news to the wife ($260 a tyre)
Are you sure that they make them in that size though??? I was told the smallest size they made was 31 x 10.5 x 15.

Just checked it up, must have got some wrong information..the smallest is 31x11.5x15R
need to save for a bit longer then..first with the body lift..ill post a pic of it as it is standard next week before i start on it. Does anyone bother with speedo reccalibration and engineers cert when fiiting big tyres? or am i just a fanatic?

Just checked Mickey Thompson add in 4X4 Monthly and definately says that the starting size is 31 X 10.5 x 15. I might ring the suppliers.
