ok, ive pulled out several MQ and suzi axles and centres......however this doesnt seem to be the same. ive undone the pinion bolts, undone the rear hub thingy bolts and removed the drum to get access to the diff brake bolt things..... am i missing something, is there something special or am i special and ur gonna tell me i need to strip the diff tube bare ?(removing the break mechanism holder bit).... or am i just not pulling hard enough.
all other axles ive played with have pretty much fallen apart, why cant this one do the same?

its a floating axel you will have to remove the 6 axel retaining nuts with a 12mm spanner remove the spring and cone washers then pull the axel out

if you search for "cone washers" there are plenty of threads that discuss the best ways to get these out.

Full floating axles the just so easy to remove.
Dont remove the wheels.
Loosen the six nuts on the end of the axle so the nuts are holding br a few threads.
Tap the housing near the cone washers to release cone washers.
Remove nuts & washer & cones.
screw in 2 bolts in the spare holes at the end of axle. this acts like a puller & pulls the axle out.

untill you snap a bolt... use decent bolts not body bolts.. i know they fit but these are a pain to drill and re tap lol
one day i will learn not to use old body bolts when pulling axels lol[/quote]
