80's ignition leads

anyone replace the factory leads with something that performs better if possible ? what brands, wire gauge etc

also if its possible can you clean the wire and ceramic disks that makes up the air flow meter inside the tube and how do you do it please ?

Good question, I just replaced my dizzy cap and rotor button which were moderately priced, but leads, over $200 from Toyota!

ended up buying a set of topgun leads and will put them on soon. when i do ill check resistance of both old and new leads with the multimeter.


jeff80, was the rotor and cap factory ? whats the damage if you dont mind.

Hurricane leads are the go. I can get you a phone number or supply them. They're not cheap though. About 160 ish for a set from memory.
