Hi guys,
Have fianally got my engine all back together and I'm planning on starting it this arvo
What I'm after is the best way to get engine oil pressure up before starting. The engine has sat for about 6 months, its also a TD42..
1- Leave the fuel disconnected and crank the engine till oil pressure is shown on the gauge?
2- Or remove oil filters and pack them with vasiline, replace and crank engine over ( I was only told of this meathod a few days ago, and I dont know??)
Also what is the best product to use to flush an engine coolant system??
any help would be greatly appreciated
Daniels
