Anyone in Brisbane who wants aftermarket engine mounts should speak to Syd King at QLD Rollers and Liners. His engine mounts are better than factory and much cheaper, and available in whatever rubber hardness you want. He usually makes LR mounts, but can do other stuff without problems.

You have to supply one for him to model off of?

There are a number of companies that make after market mounts, so it's a bit harsh IMO to simply class them all as good or crap.

I've got an aftermarket one in my Feroza (not sure what brand) but do remember one of the alignment dowels wasn't quite right and I had to enlarge the hole it mated with. AFAIK it's still holding in there after 12mths of daily driving.

G'day Andrew,
post them back and i will return them to the manufacturer for a claim,
they have a standard 12 month warranty from purchase so i can either send you a replacement set or if you wish to purchase elsewhere then return them with your invoice number if possible and i will send you a full refund,

It depends - if he has never done one before the probably. If you have old buggered engine mounts then he can remove the rubber and reuse the metal plates - makes them even cheaper.

I have been running his mounts for years and never broken one. He also made some very complex mounts for a mate's turbo pulsar - which were better than factory apparently.

Call the number below and ask for Syd.

i used aftermarket ones (kelpro) in the in the rangie, first trip out broke both engine mounts and one g/box mount.

Drove home with radiator fan digging into the shroud and engine sitting on exhausts.

I found out later this has happened before
