has anyone run poly airs with an air line from left to right (ie rears only)

so when 4x4ing with little to no pressure the compressed side can dump its now pressure into the extended side

you would have to have a valve or tap in it so when pressurized for road driving they where seperated

if you have done this or have an idea of how to do it so is simple and reliable please advise

cheers serg

Sounds like a good idea, but I generally unload the car before any serious offroading and let the polyairs down, since they are not needed.

I wouldnt let the polyairs down completely for 4wding. They can chaff and get pinched, and then the distributors will claim they have been abused, and then they wont want to honour a warrenty claim.

In other words, I wasnt impressed with my Polyairs, or their after sales service.

My mate has fitted bellows air bags to his rear leaves in his Lux.
What he has done is Y the two lines into one for easy filling but has a small ballvalve tap in one line to separate the two sides. This way he can separate the two sides when carrying a load for stabillity or join them for filling or for wheel travel off road.

A joiner line isn't uncommon, but beware of side slopes - the downhill side compresses, the uphill side extends and you get more bodyroll than normal. Heard of a Paj rolling from this.

And polyairs are supposed to have a minimum of 5psi at all times.
