4d56 Power tricks

Post by OTEP R »

Is there anyway to increase the power output of the 2.5TDi 4d56 Pajero engine? I think it's rated at around 99bhp.

Anything that can be done while the engine is apart during a rebuild? Stock power is a bit thin when stock and easily gets taxed by bigger tires and/or towing runs.

Thanks!

Fit an exh temp gauge, fit a big bore exh with a high flow muffler, increase your boost and your fuel, fit a "flowed" turbine housing and dump and increase the intercooling efficency, ie bigger cooler, water spray etc. Plus fit LPG
