Maybe try searching for the brands, like Hayman Reese and Tekonshia.

What info are you chasing?

I'd like to know a little more about them too, more out of curiosity - I'm not planning to buy.

All I know is that Tekonsha seems pretty popular, and I don't recall any negative opinions.

Cheers,

Scott

I use a Tekonshia Voyager, vey easy to use and one of the cheapest in the range. But, they have some fualts, mine is now playing up. it turns on the brake lights whenever it wants, sometimes in the middle of the night. But it will be replaced under warranty, they have 5 years on them. the better one (rolls royce model) is the Prodigy. Has a cradle that you can use to take it from car to car. Self regulates the voltage to suit the trailer load etc etc.. but costs over double the voyager.
There is also another callled a Kempsey (or similar??), no experience with that one. Just make sure you wire it with a circuit breaker, not a fuse!!
This is because if it senses a fault when your going down hill it can reconnect rather than blow the fuse, so you still have (trailer) brakes!
And use the correct guage of wiring to your trailer plug!
umm, what else you need to know about them?

my 2 cents... :)
