Do any of you guys have any ,or can get a couple sierra grills? My freind and I would like somethin a little diferetn than what is around here. If so I might be interested in them. Price wise and all. Also has anyone here put them into an older model? What we call a samurai here. I'm talking about like a 97 sierra like the pic.

This is Bigzooks Wheeling Mate. We seriously want to get the hook up with some of those Sierra Grills! Let us know what you need from the USA for Trade.

Unfortunatley they won't fit an older model Sierra as they are a different shape. They could be made to fit so a tube front. If you still are interested let us know I'm sure someone could organise something

Thanks for the Quick reply. Yes we are very interested in this Grill, headlight setup. As for me, I plan on doing a complete Tube front end, so fitting it should not be a problem. Bigzook however will have to think about how he will do his.

It might work if you used the enter front end of the body (i.e. front quarter panels, grill etc...) But i'm not sure if you can put that onto a leaf sprung sierra...

However, as Bigzook has said - if they are only after the grill - then i'd say they're already halfway to fitting it with custom mounts anyways. Too easy.

I don't think you can add the front quarter panels etc from a coily to a leafy. I was talking about this at the meeting as maybe a way around the non folding windscreen issue but it appears after closer inspection (well actual just some inspection) that they are more different than they look.

I thought you guys were talking about the Windscreen Surround and the Cowl... I think Steve suggested it may be possible to put a Leaf Sprung body on the coiler chassis and then transplant over the front quarter panels and grill from the coiler too.

the front quarter panels should swap over without too much hassels. but putting that grill into an older spook shouldn't be that hard.

nothing a bit of creative grinding won't fix. :D

as with any grill swap, new mounts are needed anyways. i've often thought about doing this mod, but i love my square headlights.

oh btw this is the first flex i've done with the bigger tyres. loads of rubbing, but that will be sorted when the springs are upgraded for something a little 'different'. shocks are also limiting down travel at the moment.

If my missus got me as excited as that pic she'd be a very happy lady.....

What can I say except I WANT THAT FRONT SETUP........

I am not afraid to do some cutting and or welding to make the grill fit. I have a welder and a big hammer........I'll make it work..Also maddhatter has a nice bender coming that I can steal from him while hes not looking.

Like I was saying, I will be removing the front end sheet metal. This includes the current grill, inner fenders and outer fenders. However I will of course keep the hood. I will then be bending up a front cage area. This will allow me to "fit" the Sierra grill and headlights.

So, what Bigzook and I are looking for are: Availability, and Price.
Below is a Picture of my friend Tims Samurai. The front Tubed area is an example of the direction I am going.

Thanks again everyone for making this thread great!
