Not really enough information.

I really want to know what it came out of. I wonder if this is a modified super carry box? and if so, what's the first gear on a super carry box?

IMHO the stock 1.0 box is the worst you could imagine - no 5th to allow deep diff gears, and a rubbish 3.0:1 first to prevent decent crawl ratio.

the 660cc sierra 5 speed box (almost the same as a 1.0l) has an overdrive and 4.0:1 first gear. It would be cool if the super carry box was the same

(Sorry for the ramble..... just thinking out loud)

As I said, really just a ramble. I'm not lookng to buy myself.

I generally think that 1.0 litres are underrated, mostly because they are ususally poorly geared, but what do I know, I convinced Greg to go cappucino 660cc ;) and I would too, in a flash :D

Mock's old 1.0 "doof" (which is now in my driveway :? ) was amazing on road and off with a 1.0, extractors, stock gearbox, series 1 RH and 4.88 LJ50 diff gears (welded front) with 31's.

Really , really good off road, but it was way light and 5200 rpm @ 100kph was a bit hard on the poor thing. Engine says no. *cough*

Hence, I am looking for a good clean power steering 660 sierra front cut. I have a set of beadlocked q78's looking for some action :D
