Give Dale a call at 2Dextreme on 0407837074. He has done many chops (including mine) and makes custom barowrk to suit. I am sure he will come in under that quote.
He is on the southside of Brisbane as well.

They used to be called Rust Rite at Brendale, they did my dual cab around 8 years ago as a prototype and I brought it off them. They are still there AFAIK, under a different name, doing coversions fulltime.

The price can vary from 4wd to 4wd even if there both GQs. If you 4wd is a 2 tone or painted burgandy red pearl it's going to cost a good $1500 more than what a white patrol would cost. You find you get what you pay for in this sort of trade and anyone quoting under $5000 for that sort of job I wouldn't let near my 4wd.
A cheap quote usually means lots more bog and shitty door gaps. Another thing to ask is engineering the 4wd after its done included in the quote? If not take it to someone who do the whole job from start to finish including the engineering.
Cheers Mick.

I got a few pics of my dual cab on my site no closeups or build pics, cause it was done before I brought it, but I might be able to get you some closups of inside etc but mine has carpet trim glued over it, PM me if you have any questions.
