G'day guys
Am lifting a D2 (farm duties) 20mm. Wasm looking at just adding a few 10mm spacers.
THe front end however has the shock down he centre of the spring. Am l better off using longer springs for this job..? Or is there a way of spacing the front end..?
Cheers,
Mike

20mm is unusual.
King springs will give 40mm front and 30mm rear over standard.
ARB/OME about 40mm
You can get spacers that will go in there - look for Landcruiser fronts I think it is, you wont buy them as LandRover spacers. You can get these via suspension outlets at a straight 20mm, though I think your rear shocks will become pretty clunky with the springs set up like this.
Re the shock, the spring spacers just sit over the top of the spring, and the shock will go down through the middle of them also.
Ok

Cheers on that.
Was told that Discos shouldn't go up to 40mm? Causes big dramas.
Reason for 20mm is basically to avoid $1000 worth of shocks/springs etc. Just need a bit more clearance is all.

Get 30mm L/cruiser spring spacers like Simon said, cost about $15 each.

Disco2's are a bit different to Disco1/Def/RRC. The D2 will go higher than that. I'm sitting at 4" and its fine. The front DC shaft doesn't vibrate. I understand a lot of the others when lifted over 2" will vibrate.
See how it goes. With spring shims the rear shocks may also need replacing.
