Hi Folks,

Quick question - can anyone tell me which auto tran cooler line from the gearbox is the output and which is the input?

I've read through the FSM but can't seem to find it anywhere.

Thanks,
Greg

The output is the one goint to the cooler and the input is the one coming from the cooler
it all seems so obvious to me, I hope this helps.
Peter.

Does it matter?
I don't know if trans coolers care which way fluid flows, but I could be wrong? If both lines on trans cooler are at same height, ie the bottom, then I'd think it don't matter.
Hopefully somebody intelligent can tell us.

Have you had a look at this one.......this is what I am looking at running in my zook....

The newest addition to B&M’s line of SuperCooler transmission and engine oil coolers is the Hi-Tek cooling system. Fitted with a high quality 12 volt electric fan and built-in mounting brackets, these coolers handle tough cooling jobs. They include a thermal switch to activate the fan when the fluid temperature reaches 160 degrees F. Can be used for racing, RV and street performance vehicles.

Hi-Tek Cooling System 13-1/2” x 9” x 3-1/2” with 9-1/2” diameter fan

If only you could get it cheaper than $350 would make it easier to get but when the auto is worth $7000 new is $350 really too much

I want to know which is which so that I know which line to tap my temp gauge into... i'm sure that the cooler won't care.

Greg,

There is a Jimny FSM that you can download that covers the auto too. It may be of use.

thats a nice cooler james. Greg already has a very nice sandwich style cooler, but I like the idea that thatone has a fan already on it so it can be mounted remotely.
