Hi

I have a gq shorty which Ive only owned for 6 months and I can hear the front springs moving on the base of the mounts on the diff.

my question is , is there supposed to be some kind of rubber mount so the base of the spring doesnt clunk around on its mounts.

My springs sit directly on the metal mounts.

cheers in advance

Joe

Rubber ring is supposed to be in the top of the spring, not the bottom.

Chances are your shocks are too long and your spring is unseating during articulation.

If you are talking while driving on level ground, chances are it's not you springs, maybe panhard bushes, radius arm bushes, etc.
