Threaded holes in t-case mount

Last trip I did I lost the 4 bolts that hold the arm on the passenger side of the t-case to the case. The thread on the casing got stripped and I need to tap in a new thread now.
I have both t-case arms braced heavily including a ring and bigger rubber mounts with bolts throught them. So the thread on these bolts that goes into the cast alloy casing was the next weakest point I guess. I'm guessing that these bolts probly got loose before getting stripped too
My question is what's the best way to go about doing this? Should I just get the next size bolts with the same thread or use a corser or finer thread? I think the finer thread is more likely to strip again but a corser thread is more likely to vibrate loose, but I don't know for sure.
What does everyone else think?
