Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Hi all...My 1HZ[turbo'd] is being repaired at the moment,The pre combustion chambers are cracked.Is this normal?Will the new ones eventually crack again like the old ones?

The tops of the pistons have score marks just above the top ring.

The bottom of the pistons have marks from hitting the cylinders.

The mechanic says its the boost from the turbo causing this.

Mick, I can only comment on the pre-cos, I have had my TD42 head reconditioned and it is common for this to happen to my model engine.
The 1HZ being a N/A engine would probably suffer from the same issues that a TD42 would after being having a turbo fitted, the main one being extra heat.
