Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Hi everybody.

Well after about 3 years of deliberation I finally extracted the digit and created my own website, allowing confirmed Rangie nuts like me access to off-road goodies and parts.

Definately orientated towards 1995-2002 Rangies and definately still under development. It may help some owners track down things they're been looking for a bit quicker and maybe save making a few mistakes.

It's called Hard Range Australia - pretty nifty title considering my name is Hardy and I really like Range Rovers.

If by 'components' you mean the HRA Suspension Kits and if by 'engineered' you mean having a few differant professionals of their field assist in areas such as design development, construction and product liabilty then the answer is yes.

The prototypes worked exactly as planned - very encouraging but the real thing must be done properly. I've been waiting on a design element query from the US - got the okay and now back into it. Hopefully only a couple of weeks before I can release the finished product.

Yes this whatI was getting at.

far to many people (shops) market items for use which have not been engineered and cannot be used on a road going vehicle.

That OFFROAD only sticker covers thier asss well.

hopefully new suppliers are making and designing so as the user can have thier car engineered with the mods. and not have to expend more dollars getting purchased items engineered to see if they are fit f or purpose.

The issue here is gaining type aproval from Qld Transport by submitting an Engineers report, so that as long as it is bolt in , the vehicle is legal for road use. I believe this involves such things as vehicle lane change tests .
For example my Out of Town Long Range tank has a sticker saying all welding done to Qld regulations on it.
Graeme Cooper will not sell coil spring kits for 38 s as they never came with coils and would need type approval, whereas Classic air suspensions can be changed legally as they came with coils.

Got to love seeing those high-dollar/late-model Range Rovers getting used, my dad used to have on of those. Looks like a good for site P38-owners.
