hilux bodylift 75mm

hey guys
Im looking at purchasing a 75mm body lift kit soon from another member,
from what iv read on the web about bodylifts is that you run into a few minor problems.
from what im aware, im getting, extended steering column, body blocks and bolts and also the gear shifters.
does anyone else know what i will need for certain and what sizes i will need? in terms of fuel lines and brake lines?

I had a 75mm body lift on mine and to be honest i wouldn't recommend it, it puts alot of leverage on your body mounts.
But if you really want to, you will need to:
*Extend your steering with a spine extention
*Cut out or remove entirely the lower section of your radiator shroud.
*Gearstick will need to be reshaped so you dont bash your hand on the radio, you may even need to cut some of the floor out for the tranny shifter.
No mods were needed to brake lines or wiring however the clutch line did get rather tight with my 75mm lift. I would reccomend that you get a lengthened one.
Thats about all i can think of for now.

3" on my old sr5 dual cab no problems lowered radiator custom shroud never had any problems

Nah, just the shroud that goes around the fan, because the radiator is mounted to the body and the fan is mounted to the chassis via the engine the radiator will now be 75mm higher than the fan. So you need to cut out the bottom of the shroud or its going to make a god-awful rukus in the engine bay.

Not that im aware of........
And yes dont weld a longer peice into your steering column, get a spacer.
