Anyone done up and turboed a 3.5, or is it just crazy?
I've heard a well built 3.5 to 3.6 or above with some nice bits and peices can way out perform a 4.6 conversion, what does everyone think? thats without the turbo

I have seen a few supercharged rover V8s. No reason you can't turbocharged one. Rover and Perkins built the "Iceberg" - turbo diesel rover V8 - but it never went into production unfortunately. If memory serves, it had a single turbo sitting in the back of the V.

Great idea, a friend of mine's brother turboed a 3500 P6B auto, and apart from the manifolding and plumbing which took some time to perfect, it ran water injection and a single draw through 2" SU carb. With decent tyres and a set of Koni's, It would eat an XU-1 through the twisty bits AND on the straight bits too. It was a real sleeper.
