Evening all...

Anyone put some better seats in their 60 than whats normally in there. At the moment i have the split seat 1+2 setup, but would like to look at a cheap option for bucket seats. I know that u could fab up brackets to fit almost anything, but i also want it to be a pretty easy job.

Also... Why now is the brake light on the dash (next to the park brake light) coming on after heavy braking? I dont have a manual or anything to check up whats its all about. Anyone know?

I think low vacuum (i.e. a leak or faulty pump on a diesel) can cause this.

Seats: Late 80's honda accord seats fit neatly with very minimal modification and they're comfy too.
Brake light: Could be the vacuum switch sensing low vacuum or low fluid in the master cylinder. check fluid level first, if it's down find out why. Vacuum switch either has one or two wires. If it's two wire then the light should come on when they're disconnect and go out if they are bridged together from memory. If so, bridge them together and drive. If light doesn't come on you knoe it's a vacuum or switch fault. If it's a single wire then shorting the wire to earth will either make light go off or on. Same scenario here!

Will suss out the seats...

I had a quick check of brake fluid the other night, and all looked good, today i checked and there is brake fluid leaked out all down the front of the boost drum. Have bought a master cylinder kit and hopefully this will fix the problem. Have just topped it up for now to get me through tomorrow.
