Hey,

Wondering what makes windows when winding them up by electric or not go up on the piss. Mine is going up and the tilting in the frame.

EG. From the right channel it has a gap between the window and the frame. gets bigger as window is going up.

I was thinking regulator or channel problem.

Bailey channels are most likely up the duff.
A new set should only set you back some spare change, and for most models its an easy job to fit them.

Kewl.

Baily channels are which ones specifically? These are the right and left channels or the bottom one.

The zook has one crap window and my proton is doing it now as well.

Thanks

Bailey channel is the rubber/ felt in which the glass slides, you can buy it by the meter at Clark rubber or auto trimming places/ rubber suppliers.
If there is a large gap then maybe the steel frame has come loose inside the door, worn bailey channel will only make it loose by about 5mm or so.

it will be the window reg.
although it still windes it is the plastic rollers that are worn causing it to tilt in the metal runner..

Take the door trim off and you will see 2 10mm nuts holding a roughly 6" long 'slide thingy'. We'll just call it that for this exercise. Most likely one or both nuts are loose. This determines the all the way up and all the way down angle. Loosen them both off, wind window up and you'll see which side adjusts this, align as needed, then wind all the way down and do the other nut. It'll all make sense when you look at it. But that's for the forward and backward tilt.
