Aussie Bronco's have one fitted standard in the front. Don't know how they go, but.

assuming you're talking about a toyota style clutch pack LSD, if you have it preloaded enough to make a difference to offroad traction, it will make your offroad handling unpredictable and on high speed dirt roads the vehicle will tend to push/understeer badly into corners until the weight transfers to the outside wheel, at which point you'll become good buddies with mister oversteer. It's not impossible to handle but it's not real comfortable either.

for the effort you have to go to to change the front hemisphere, save up for an airlocker.

if it's a patrol, then your rear lsd wouldnt fit the front diff anyway as they are different sizes

i have a lsd in the front of my 60 series i bought it like that but i can say its a waste of time, off road it just spins one wheel and sucks

its probly a bit loose now as its older but i would either get a locker or weld it up
