Just wondering what fuel consumption could be expected from this motor in city driving conditions?

Thanks in Advance!

Expect 20-25L per hundred, manual, little more for auto. That's driven sensibly.

Well, that's 90 litres for 625 klms in total. So to find out how many litres per hundred, divide the 90 by 6.25 (because you did 6.25 hundred).

That gives 14.4 litres per hundred klms! I'm guessing you don't drive a 4.5 GU petrol Patrol, becuase if you did that would be a world record.

Oh, and to answer the original question - as said in the first response, expect 20-25 per hundred.

Sounds about right for 35's wouldn't you say?

I have only owned a 4.5L patrol, and earlier diesels.

Are the 4.5's better or worse on fuel then the earlier 4.2 carb/efi model GQ's?

dont know what the problem is but thats what we get and yes its 98 4.5L gu auto wagon patrol that figure is hwy running sitting on 120kph with the cruise on but around town we normally get about 560-570 so i dont know why people winge about them

i used to get 22lt per hndred around town when the car was stock. and 17lt per hundred on the highway.

now with the lift and 35s it seems to be slightly better.
i still havnt gone through a whole tank so i cant give any figures with the lift and tyres but im guessing maybe 15-16 on the highway and around 20 for around town.
and i do have a heavy foot.

also i think the snorkel may have helped a bit as most of the driving i did on the weekend was up in the mountains and the air was quite cold.
