GU radiator 4.2td

I rang a few wreckers today for a radiator for my 2004 gu 4.2 td ute but none available..
so Q is what other models is the same radiator from as some wreckers didnt know anything and 1 kept asking me was it a automatic

hit the water too hard and pushed it back to the fan..its rooted .

Do all the 4.2 diesels Gu have the same radiator.i.e turbe..non turbo.wagon ..ute.
got a price from a wreckers at revesby.....over $400

No f.u.c.k.i.n.g way.
I have a brand new v8 crummydore radiator here to go on the tray.but i need one in the engine bay to get me out of trouble..(for a trip soon)

cost me $380 for a new core in mine while back, so that price aint bad.
how much were you expecting to pay, considering they would usuallly be first thing totalled in a crash...

well the new v8 was 250 so a used nissan I would have thought around this price or less

that was very cheap, the cores I think are more than that.

Nissan wanted $308 trade price for the plastic triangle mirror mount to repair my broken mirror

, so $400 for a radiator, even second hand, sounds like christmas to me.

Yep, farken pirates I reckon!!! Usual story, "can't get that part, have to by whole mirror assembly", blah blah.
I ended up repairing it with $8 worth of steel, arildyte and epoxy putty.

Can't even see it was broken.

that part is available for GQ, I'd try andrew (AJ) at blackburn nissan...

yep i was only planning to put the commodore radiator on the rear and nothing up front..
this car normally doesnt drive on the road but it looks like that is about to change.

ok cool, I was talking to Toughnut and he is looking into running both the front radiator and a second one behind the cab, to help keep the diesel cool. I thought you were looking into the same thing. What kind of event do you get into??

all short course.nissan trials woodpecker but if i had the cash i would do the outback challenge
