Extractors 2.8 DX 4 Runner

I have read many a thread on Outerlimits over the past month or so.
After receiving replys to my bit on increasing power to my 1991 2.8 diesel 4 Runner (5 speed) it was decided that a turbo at this stage was to expensive.
Many said "Go for the extractors" So I am buying a set off a fellow member this week.
My questions are:
1. What size exhaust? 2" or whatever?? (all the way)
2. What type of muffler? (been told free flow system)
3. What increase in power will I achieve??
4. What else can I do?
I mentioned in my thread some weeks ago I was towing a 1.3 tonne boat and was worried about getting up hills. Well I did try and Yes, I made it up the bloody big hill, BUT SLOWLY.
Hopefully the extractors will help

Would it be possible to do something with the extractors on my 2L-T?

No point gotoy... extractors are for NA cars, they are just a free-er flowing exhaust manifold design... you could get a custom exhaust manifold to bolt your turbo onto, but its a bit out there for a 2L-T, what you want is a 3" dump pipe of the turbo, thats as close to extractors as you can theoretically get.

Did the extractors and the exhaust and the muffler noticed no differene at all except for a anoying exhaust note and 500 dollars less in my bank account.only lasted 2 weeks ripped it out and did the turbo conversion, best thing i ever did the manifold i bought from boss wrecking for 45 dollars all the cross over pipes and fittings came from mtq turbo at salsbury for 200 dollars the turbo i bought from asian imports for 100 dollars as it was smokey,Mike vine rebuilt the turbo for 650 dollars,a heater hose connection came strate of a surf to adapt the water cooling this cost 30 dollars.I pulled the sump off and welded on a piece of pipe to take the turbo oil return to the sump.Lewis hoses and seals made the oil feed line that screws straight into the side of the block and feeds the turbo the oil this only cost 75 dollars in braided stainless steel.Fitted a pyro and wound the pump up three flats, have a 3 inch exhaust system which half of it i made myself,i have 33 inch tyres and with that set up it has no trouble pulling away from mates 3 litre 1kz until around 105 kmp were the 1kz starts to pullaway, the 1kz only has 32 inch tyres.Ps i love to drink beer and smash shit up usually with explosives,my friends say i have a mental issue.
