hey all... im gathering the funds and parts needed in order to start work on my roza sometime over the next few weeks. i was curious, apparently sometime during roza's transit back to my home state, it lost the flange between the block and transmission. do i need it when i install the new transmission? i happen to have both pieces of the flange off of the parts truck i have sittin around. what purpose do they serve?

what exactly is the flange?
i noticed the other day that there is no cover over the bottom part of my flywheel, ie between the sump and the transmission case.

thats what im talkin about. theres 2 pieces. a upper piece and a bottom piece. the top one is bigger than the bottom. i'm missing the bottom apparently.

the lower plate is just a inspection/dust cover plate. no biggy but worth having it on there to stop contamination of the clutch assy. almost every vehicle has one of these.

ok, cheers for the info. i'll just rip the set off of my donor block. glad to know its good for something instead of some piece of useless junk.
