Your'e not carrying chooks in the back are you?
Sorry, I couldn't resist.

The clicking noise might be worn CV joints, your hubs aren't locked in on the bitumen are they?

As far as oil usage goes from what I've heard they tend to burn a bit more than most but apparently it's normal??????

I use about a litre over 10000 kms give or take.

Nico,
I have an 02 rodeo V6 and it also burns higher than normal (in my opinion) amounts of oil, im keeping a close eye mine at the moment to work out just how much it is actually using, be interested in what you find out.
At first i thought it was because the dealer put 10w-30 in it, ive had changed since to 15w-50 but still no real improvement :?

When i was working at a holden dealership we used 10w-30 oil in the rodeo's with no increase in oil consupmtion. But yeah, i have noticed that they do tend to burn it a bit.

Layton,

was there any particular reason for such thin oil when the manual states 20w-50???
