does any one think in a 4" susp GU drop boxes would be recommended to improve flex or would it be better with hinged 3rd arms.

I would go the drop boxes champ. But if all your after is mega flex a 5 link is the only way you will gain front flex. But you will lose onroad manners so I have been told although I know of a few people who run the five link without problems.

I agree with Chris drop boxes are the go. Also much cheaper
