Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Have just tried to drive out of the driveway and found I have no forward motion . I have a 4.5l auto. When in R,N D,2,1 nothing happens. When try to put back into park, loud grinding of teeth as it goes back in.

Also when in park "AT/P" illuminates on dash.

Any guru's out there that might be able to assist.

I think you will find that means your tranfer case is in neutral.

The AT/P light comes up to tell you even though the car is in park, it wont work because the transfer case is in neutral.

Thanks for that. That was the problem. You were right. The minister for war and finance is going to give me money to get it fixed. I'm not going to tell her. So what do I need?
