It's about 32" and they fit with a Calmini 3" suspension lift using Vit 2.0 16" rims. You'll need to pull the mudflaps for offroad.

Awesome tyre. I used to have them and they were the best mud tyre Ihave used, much beter than the Swampers. They will last foever on the Zuk. I had them for about 6 ears, then another member in our club had them for a couple of years then christover had them for a few years. Wish you could still get them. They also came in a 7.00 x 16, a 8.25 x 16 and a 9.00 x 16

SAT's totally rock. I too wish you could still get them.

Be a bit careful though, there are some radial SAT's available now and these have a less aggressive tread and are nowhere near as good.

They would make an excellent Vitara tyre.

I was of the opinion they were out of production. I have not ween any new ones for years. Tyrepower stores in Melbourne used to be able to get tem (I am talking like '94.

Thay are not even very common in the UK now, and for about one million years they were the ONLY tyre anyone went off road in the UK on. Comparing like sizes, they work better in most victorian conditions than a swamper, and I am a massive swamper fan.

Can anybody clear up whether they are still available for sure?

The radial set I saw (actually, I seem to recall seing two sets) were 7.00X16's, so, a bit small for anything really.

A tyre shop in, I think, Lilydale had 3X 8.25R16's for a fair while and could never find a 4th, (33" tall) and I saw a few pictures of Land rovers in the UK with 9.00 16s (35 tall) "back in the day"

Oh what I would give for a set of 9.00's!

A little off topic but still about tyres. These babies are road legal in the UK:

The King Off Road Fedima Trekker is a new concept in off road tyres. It is legal on the highway but with it's open self cleaning tread pattern and triple lug system with side wall lugs it is primarily designed to cut through mud, swamps, bogs and over rocks. With reinforced sidewalls for added protection this really is an awesome off road tyre. A fully remoulded tyre the quality is second to none and a lot cheaper than similar new tyres on the market. Available in a wide range of sizes to fit most 4x4's.

Available in sizes 35.10.5x16, 900x16,235/85x16,750x16,205x16,31.105x15, 215/80x15

Isn't Fedima just like Motorway over hear....ie. they just make cheap remoulded copies of all the well known and loved tyres.? I'd say their far from the real deal as I found when i went from my mongrels to centis. The SAT's that are for sale at the moment are the real deal i think?

yeah , the 1,s for sale are "the real deal" (cross plys)
you coould also get them in a radial ( i had some !!)
but compared to the set grimbo had(cross plys) , rate them at 8/10
my set(radials) , about 6.5/10 !!

& my guess , the remoulds would be around a 5/10 (if ya lucky !!) :D

My brothers and i stocked up on the LAST buch to be produced by firestone, i have a set, "THE 109" has 2 sets and my other brother has possibly 4 sets, no good to us any more as we are all going bigger.
;)

They measure closer to 31 inch tall. Good to see there are some fans out there as well as us. :)

those remoulds look much better the a mongrel. the mongrel tread blocks are not as deep, and do no stick out as far, (for pulling out of ruts.)
