Alot of the early 75series stuff seems to be interchangable with 60 series components. I was wondering if the bull bar off a 60 will fit a 88 75 series and also if the springs will too.
Cheers Showelly

Bullbar will need mods, the chassie on the 60 series is 75mm wider. The back springs are interchangeable. cheers

Thanks mate. With the springs is there anything interchangable with the front, cheap parts seem to be a bit rare compared to other models.

you sure about the back springs? 75 springs are heaps longer than 60 from my experience

front springs are shorter than 75 series as well. the shackles should work though

60 series rear springs are the same as 73 series but the fronts are different lengths but you could put them in and see how they go maybe even change the main leaves

i just bought some 70 series rear springs for my 60
i measured them and they are 1.5" longer but it wont matter it will only move the shackle rearwards in its natural direction
once real difference is you need the bigger shackle bushes (60 have the small ones) and longer u bolts, well i needed longer ones as the spring pack was thicker

hang on hang on, the question was for 75 series springs... so can we stick to that to stop confusion.
where is the 1.5 inches added? between the solid mount and the axle, or between the shackle and the axle?
and i was 99% that 60 series run the big bushes (pretty much any cruiser built after 1980 did)

i meant it was off a 7* series dont no which exactly
its the same from front eye to diff but longer from diff to shackle
fitted them last night and the shackle swings and rests on the body so no shackle movement
im gonna take it and get the shackle plate cut off and welded 2" back to fit
