hi,
i put the feroza on the weigh bridge today at the local cement place, with a full tank of fuel and me in it was 1500kg (i'm 72kg).

does that sound abouts right? bit confused as on the compliance plate it has GVM 1750kg, is the gross vehicle mass? spose to be how heavy the roza is or something else?

thanks.

GVM is the max legal totall weight of that car, including whatever your carrying... bullbar, racks, gear, passengers, etc etc

Yeah, what Nath said about GVM.

The Curb weight, or factory weight of the Roza is 1322 kg.
Some models will have variances of course, depending on extras etc.

I am quite surprised they are that heavy! My old sil80 weighed 1380kg with me (90kg), a few toolboxes, a full tank of gas and an extra 100kg of 6 cylinder engine under the hood. Cant believe a feroza is more then 100kg heavier then the s13!

I guess there isnt much metal in the old jap cars eh :D

If a Fez is 1500kg a Landcruiser or Patrol must be up around 3000kg?

Cheers
Brad

i weighed my mr2 at the same time, it came up with 1240kg with a full tank of fuel and me in it (remember i weigh 72kg). thats the car i'm more worried about, but then with the stereo and body kit etc, no wonder it's overweight. haha

These types of 4x4 are heavier than say a passenger car due to the chassis construction and extra driveline components.

An extra diff, axel and transfer case alone tends to weigh quite a bit.. And as you said, its meal construction is quite heavy also.
Strong tho

Widetrack is quite a bit heavier than Narrowtrack, will pull up the weights when I find 'em.

Found the info for factory spec on www.warfs.org/content/view/14/41/, spec saying "Curbside weight: 1322 kg" for feroza NT and WT.

I think i read somewhere it said that factory F310 (widetrack) weight around 1200kg, dry (no fuel). can't remmie where it said that.[/b]
