5L diesel pump timing

does anyone have any info on setting up injector pump timing on a toyota 5l engine?

There is a line on the engine and a line on the pump, line them up and thats it.

the 5l pump has been fitted to a 1kz eng,
its also a rotor pump not a inline pump
the rotory pump is checked with a dial indicator guage
the inline pump method is a spill timing type
this is to get a true and accurate reading

I would like to know how you fitted the 5L pump onto a 1KZ engine as I want to get rid of the 1KZ electronic pump

just had fuel adjusted by diesel pump guy and pump timing checked also, and they had the same configeration of output so i just bolted it on done about 30,000k now.
