Hi there, Picked up my new beast today a 1976 Rangie ... (yes that was '76 by the way not '86 or even '96) but it has a P76 4.4 in it on LPG.

All Good. Except the holley carby and the lpg setup sticks the air cleaner through the bonnet where they have placed a 'nice' letterbox setup. I can fix all that with a body lift but I still want to run a snorkel off it preferably with a sort of 3 inch adaptor elbow off the top of the carby and a std rangie canister style filter- it must have been done before. I'd just like to know how and see pics if possible.

Ta guys! :)

I spent ALOT of time and ALOT of swearing making this sucker up and used a std Commo Airbox ontop of the inner gaurd. :D but she no leak!!!

I've justput in a 2.5" body lift and I'm pretty sure there is plenty of clearance for a airbox around the whole thing now

After a quick spurt around the block I'm startin to think the 350 is too small as well :? but thats a different story.

hmmm pics not working, pm your email.

its basically a ring that sits underneath the diaphragm in the mixer the easiest way to describe it would be to say its a mini airbox without a filter and forces the air into the carb... the pictures say 1000 words however.

Although not into a rover motor on gas, I run dual snorkels, each into modified 3.5 airboxes, then into the motor.
heres some pics, ignore the mess, nowhere near finnished but you get the picture
