Ok i know this isnt a 4x4 q. But if there are any gurus out there how do i replace the floor and stern on a fibreglass boat. If it is in the wrong section please advise me where to move it. Im already well versed on f'glass repair as im a coachbuilder by trade with many years of f'glass expreciance. Im able to get a 15ft half cabin with a trailer for $500 the only problem is that the floor and arse end have rot. I have a pretty good idea how to repair the floor but am at a loss as to how repair the back. I want to cut the glass from the inside of the boat to keep the outside lookin good and replace the ply from there. But with all the curves in the back of a boat what is the best way to get to this. I have heard of goin 200mm in and cuttin the arse end off to get at the inside and rejoining it later but i think this is a bit severe. Are there any boaties on this forum or even someone that does this 4 a livin. Im sorry that this isn't 4x4 but im sure f'glass repair is something that a lot of 4x4ers should know. if there are any links to this on the net it would be appreciated

I think familybus recently did a rebuild on his boat so he might have some answers for you.
Alternatively try http://forums.iboats.com/cgi-bin/ubb/ultimatebb.cgi . There's alot of info about boats on there :D
