Brake Booster Question

I am wanting to install a brake booster to my buggy whilst the disc brake conversion on the rear is being done.
The Master cylinder is from a 3.9 V8. Can I attatch a booster from a 3.5 V8 to that? Or alternatively, does a MC from a 3.5 V8 bolt up to a 3.9 V8?
Thanks in advance.

Mick your wasting your time trying to run a booster on that MC. It would be easier to run a Hilux/Cruiser Booster and Mast Cyl. Your going to have to re-make all the brackets anyway. That MC needs a Disco Booster if you do decide to go that way.
Personaly i would go with a 1" 80series MC and Booster.

Reason i say you are wasting your time is that its an expensive set up and hard to replace if it fails. The 80 series set up should be cheaper and easily replaced if a problem happens.

Figured it was about cost and reliability. I have access to 3 different boosters/MC from 3.5 V8s that were/are in Rangies, so they were my first choice.
But I would rather it be done right the first time.
Thanks heaps, Tony.
